If illegal entry was a felony, what would they do with them? What would have to change from the judicial and law enforcement point of view... will they be housed here or get the popular court return? Will they be deported?
Something has to be done.

IMHO, the best argument for that actually effects the employers. Instead of being guilty of a misdemeanor employing an 'undocumented worker'(sic) they would be guilty of aiding a felon. That will shut down the practice of hiring illegals really fast..

Now, is this the best solution.. not sure.. I think we should not try to lump all this as one bill, as many are demanding, and instead take it in steps (Kaizen).. plug the leak first, then deal with the spill..
