The Century War still happens.
Bush did the Putin thing right. In the War with Islam, Russia will reluctantly side with us, but the Iraq mess destroyed that advantage. Turns out Bush had one shot - one shot he didn't take -- and that was to take over Iraq - force a western style constitution, rights and the rule of law on the new State. Force. And had there been force to establish of a successful modern state in Iraq, freedom loving Iranians would take down the Mullahs. But that's not what happened. Ahhh, if only...
Instead, Bush wanted to look good -- appear to be doing what's right, rather than doing what was right. Iraq became a civil war in endless process, while Iran consolidated it's power. In the end, Iraq was broken up into four separate states - Iran taking the best part - and over the years, controlling all but the Kurds.
Israel was nuked -- the lie put out by the other side was "without Israel to fight over, there will be peace in the region - and now that they're gone, what's there to fight over?" Some, in the horror of the time, bought the excuse. And that time was used to Islamic advantage. Again, consolidation. And so on ... and the three words? All of us who are time travelers know them -- and the writer is trolling for those of us left ... or, he's on the other side - trying to take out those few of us...
Not bad, not bad at all...
