Never have I doubted Saddam's desire to attack the United States or our interests overseas. The first Gulf War never ended for him and he knew that his only option was to use unconventional warfare. And, with or without WMD, I think this is the risk that the Bush administration was no longer willing to live with.

Indeed, thanks are heartfelt. Jveritas (almost single-handed) is doing the work the MSM should be doing--or if they are, they're burying it because it doesn't fit with their own kind of mythology (Bush lied, etc.).
