I've been saying for months now that it is Gore and Gore alone who is stoking the warm and fuzzies on the moonbat left. They always loved him and he is the symbol of their hatred of George Bush and the "stolen" election of 2001.

Gore is everything the Rats want in a candidate.

And Morris had some really good insights here:

"There are no rewards for those who push consensus when we want polarized debate. Ask the George H.W. Bush of 1992, the Jimmy Carter of 1980 and Gerald Ford. Fate is equally unkind to polarizers when we want consensus. Ask John Kerry, Bob Dole, Mike Dukakis and Walter Mondale."

Jimmy Carter pushing consensus in 1980? Did Dick Morris sleep through that election? Jimmy Carter was one of the most divisive and mean-spirited candidates ever, trying to convince everyone that Reagan's election would be disastrous for the country.

Gore may be firing up the left wing in the Democratic Party by his rhetoric, but if he is nominated he will need to balance the ticket with a more moderate figure. Cynthia McKinney would be a good choice.
