Did Rush actually say "Freeper"?
He did!
Not only so, but he said it was no surprise that a Freeper would come up with a good idea.
Yes he did, he lead with something like this (paraphrasing from memory):
"... And over at Free Republic, a Freeper had a good idea, which often happens there, ... " Then he went on to describe the idea, that the Republicans in Congress should adopt and sponsor Harry Reid's bill from 1993 ...
OK, I have the transcript. I am a Rush 24/7 member, and I have the mp3 download, so I have just listened to it and transcribed it. For those other 24/7 members, it occurs starting about 4 minutes into Rush's 3rd hour broadcast today.

Rush: "Got an email from a friend who said someone on the Free Republic website has a great idea. And I'm not surprised that a Freeper would have a good idea. What ought to happen, the Republicans in the Senate, ought to go get a copy of Harry Reid's release announcing his bill on Aug 5, 1993 ... go out and get his bill, and make it their own, because Harry Reid's bill from Aug 5, 1993 is exactly what you hear me articulating on this issue, the past week or two.
