My God, what is wrong with these freaks? Don't they know that there are more cops than teenagers hanging around chatrooms these days?
How did this guy get into the DHS?

charged with using a computer to seduce a child after authorities said he struck up sexual conversations with an undercover detective posing as a 14-year-old girl. Granted, the fellow is a fool and a dirtbag.
But strictly speaking I do not see where he used a computer to seduce a child.
Looks to me like he used a computer to seduce a detective.

Sexual tastes aside, do we really want people this stupid making decisions?

The DUmmies are salivating over this. I'd love it if this perv turned out to be a RAT.

And maybe next time, he'll use a computer to seduce a band of vigilantes that will know what to do with his sorry ass when he shows up for a "date".

I'm curious what crime was committed? Flirting with a role playing detective?

Ever wonder the fun you could have with a computer and a baseball bat.

Does anyone know if this guy was an appointee vs. a civil service hire?
I know he doesn't show up in a cursory fec.gov search.

By that reasoning, an arrest of a drug dealer for "sale" to an undercover agent would be thrown out, because it wasn't a real sale.

White House press secretary Scott McClellan called it "a very serious matter." Very sharp observation, Scott. You must be a higher-ranking, higher-paid PR flack than Doyle.

Gee, what a BIG disappointment that he got caught before actually molesting a child!!!
Wouldn't want that to happen now, would we?
The freak is lucky it was the police and not the parents who caught his sorry ass.
To: dinoparty
What if he had fake drugs?

Sexual tastes aside, do we really want people this stupid making decisions? Where do you think stupid people go for jobs, if they're not on welfare? See my tagline.

If he had fake drugs, that would mean that there was no INTENT on his part to sell drugs, and there would be no crime (unless there is a law against selling fake drugs, of course). It all comes down to the intent of the perp.

There must be lots of stupid people in the capital cities all over the country!!

It wouldn't be illegal to attempt to sell fake drugs?
