People have short memories. Hardly anyone here anymore cares that it was George Bush, assisted by Tom Delay, who gave us the most rapid increae in the welfare state since the 1960s in the form of prescription drug subsidies.

I haven't forgotten that at all, if it was me to whom you were referring. I condemn him for that too. Had I known he would do what he has done, I certainly would have taken a hard look at other candidates during the Republican primaries.

Bush told people exactly what he would do, including Amnesty and free drugs. The "conservatives" on this forum still bent over backwards to defend him, put him in office and keep him there.
