House Democrats are fuming now that Cynthia McKinney's police assault case has stolen the spotlight from Republican troublles on Capitol Hill - and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi is reportedly so mad at McKinney that she's no longer speaking to the Georgia Democrat.
"Theres been a lot of eye-rolling, an aide to a moderate Democrat told the Hill newspaper on Tuesday, speaking on condition of anonymity. "The national attention its been getting has been unfortunate. Its becoming a distraction.
A Democratic strategist told the paper that McKinney's attempt to charge the police with racism is sure the backfire.
"This isnt the view of Democrats that we want to project in the tough races, one of victims and race-baiting, the strategist said.
Rep. McKinney and Rep. Pelosi "no longer speak" to each other, the Hill reports - "not even to exchange greetings when encountering each other in the Capitol hallways."
Even before McKinney's latest meltdown, Pelosi kept her distance.

You have good pictures.
I also see my "originals" that I borrowed show up later.
Oh, well, it was for fun and for a good cause.
Ronald Reagan said something similar..."you can accomplish alot if you do not care who gets the credit."
He said it better than I did.

It is the Democratic Party that has brought us this race-baiting crap. Let them stew in it.

Typical 60s spoiled brat.
Don't think so. IMO, she epitomizes the "Gangsta" culture. Be loud, be angry, be disruptive, disrespectful of authority. Don't want to act "too white". The people of her district have elected a thug. And they are proud of their thug. She's just "telling it like it is".
You got it right. Never assimilate. And never amount to anything.

I'll bet there was a lot of secret and not so secret rejoicing in Donkey Party strategy rooms when that nutjob McKinney was beaten in her primary by Majette four years ago. You can bet that when she was re-elected, there was mountain of consternation and dismay that the certified wack-job was back in congress.
No Dem has the guts to admit that McKinney is mentally unbalanced and doesn't have the intelligence of a box of rocks. But of course the Dem party is filled with mental midgets, so McKinney doesn't stand out much when compared to the rest of them.

"FR and Rush only people"
I've read numerous columns and heard a slew of talk show hosts other than Rush (Hannity for example) cover this.
