The "R" word is being used?
Riots, not merely unrest or protests?

On another thread I said it was amazing to watch the French destruct, like a soap opera.

You know something bad is going to happen, and it is their own fault, but everyone in the show is so stupid it can't be stopped.

In honor of Joachim Noah's contributions to the Gators' national championship, I shall refrain from all French-bashing for one week.

The appeasement being practiced by the French is the role model for our own Senate re recent "demonstrations" here.

I'm hoping these morons stick to Tuesdays to have their get-togethers. I'm arriving in Paris on Wednesday, April 26th and staying until Saturday afternoon, then heading to London. I'll be on a whole day tour on Thursday to Normandy, and on Friday, I'll be visiting The Louvre all day, atmosphere permitting.

Has anybody asked why Tuesdays have been chosen as their protest day? Why not any other day? Why not every day? Obviously they don't need their jobs all that much if they can decide to take one day off a week to gather on the green and riot. They really haven't ingratiated themselves to anyone, and by committing arson and other destructive damage to area businesses, they are only hurting the people who employ them.

Hmmm.... I never thought the French had the work ethic or the stamina to keep rioting this long. Kudos to them! :)

You want comments? What do YOU do when your children throw a temper-tantrum? You just let them run amok? Doesn't that make you a spineless parent? That's what I see.

Those kids + Muslims + Unions need to be: 1) arrested; 2) booked; 3)incarcerated. And what tourist will ever again visit Paris? or France? If law enforcement cannot do anything to protect its citizens, God help them all.

Can you imagine if the French would have gotten this upset about Hitler taking over their country. The USA would have never been needed.
