The fact that he did not come and out and say point-blank

That shows you do agree with me. He never said what is claimed he said. Thank you for agreeing with me!

Debating the meaning or interpetation of something he said is one thing, claiming he said something he did not say is another.

I am glad that you have the difference figured out. Can you please help some others realize the same thing?

W understands how freedom works. I must accept that you have your choice and I have mine. You must accept the same thing. We all can not agree on the choice made but we all can agree that we all have that choice to make.

Respecting the fact that all have their own choice is not the same thing as accepting the outcomes of the choices themselves.

W has never said the minutemen must cease and desist. He has never said they have no right to be there doing what they are doing. He has never said they are engaging in vigilante behavior.

He has expressed his position about those that would take part in vigilante actions. The minutemen are not doing anything of the kind and thus to claim that W was calling the minutemen vigilantes is simply a false statement.

You may continue to read between the lines and claim that Bush is against freedom of speech and freedom to protest but keep in mind how untrue that statement is. It mirrors the statement that Bush called the minutemen vigilantes. Neither is true. What

No I don't.

President Bush denounced "vigilantism" in the presence of Vincente Fox, who specifically singled out the Minutemen.

If he did not believe that the Minutemen were vigilantes, then he could have clarified those remarks, which he chose not to do.

To infer from his statement anything other than a condemnation of the Minutemen Project is not only illogical, but utterly absurd.

What over "vigilantes" was he denouncing?
