If Ronnie Earle drops the case then this has been another example of how the left is far more dangerous than Senator McCarthy ever was. Smear political opponents and hound them out of office/work (whether they are radio hosts or elected officials).

There were Communists serving the USSR in the US and useful idiots who defended Uncle Joe Stalin (a man who killed more people than Hitler). McCarthy was right (and he did not lead the charge, HCUA existed back to the 1930s).
