Howdy Chena! You sure 'fought' it out with them--like the Spartans at the pass!

Some there just won't look past superficial superficialities.

I can see being wary of gang tats, MS13, and all that stuff--the meaning is there to read. But any old tatoo? Nope.

I have to admit, that belly button baubles and pierced eyebrows make a pretty girl less attractive on the outside imo, but I'm not 'in the market' anyway--and they are wearing all that to please them, not me.

Besides, I am always in jeans and biker boots (good practical wear for what I do and where I live) and with the long hair have probably scared my share of people at first glance, too, especially in riding leathers. (8^D)

If they are that superficial and judgemental, it is probably just as well, and their loss!

You did great! and as for those who didn't/wouldn't get it, we can always pray for them.

I was probably more like a Norwegian Viking. Pass the lefse, please (but hold the lutefisk). LOL

I can just imagine some people still freak out at the sight of a man with long hair, with or without the leather and boots. How sad. I feel bad for those who have saddled themselves with that sort of judgemental mindset. It is possible that the good Lord sent someone into their life for a reason He only knows, and they chose to shut that person out because they didn't like their looks.

God love ya, Joe, you're a good man.
