Chena, I know exactly what you're trying to get across, and believe me, I understand the potential validity of your point. But you have to understand something too...your exact same "withhold judgment until the evidence drags you kicking and screaming to the conclusion I don't want you to reach" is the liberals favorite tactic.

You can't expect people to take you seriously when you "strain at a gnat," but they see you "swallowing a camel."

I appreciate that, papertyger. I'm not saying that we should "withhold judgement until the evidence drags you kicking and screaming to a conclusion I don't want you to reach". All I have ever said is that I don't believe that judging folks based on tatoos, piercings, ugly clothes, bad B.O.....whatever.....is a good thing.

I'm not perfect and I have judged others by their outward appearance. I've said that before on this thread. I'm not proud of it, but I admit it, and I try very hard not to paint everyone with the same brush.
