That one on the clergy is the most significant, and should be a major focus of US attention... as well as the Vatican's

The Mexican regime (totalitarian/communist before Lenin!) murdered all the priests and nuns who defied the regime by preaching true Catholicism. Then it banned foreigners from serving as clergy. It was an atheist state's hostile takeover a religion, and is why Mexican Catholicism is often little more than perverse superstitions. The only difference between Marx and Mexico's founders was that Marx believed religion should be abolished because it was an "opiate for the people." Mexico found that people were easily controlled by controlling their medication.

That one on the clergy is the most significant, and should be a major focus of US attention... as well as the Vatican's. The Vatican cares nothing about the nationality rules on catholic priests. It only cares about loyalty of the ones there to Rome.
