In a nutshell, the Mexican Constitution days, if you're not a Mexican citizen, you get zilch, nothing, Nada, including legal rights. You bet we're suckers, real big time. The general American populous won't realize it, until the Mexican flag is flying over the Southwest. Right now, they're sleep walking.
