I wouldn't classify Rush as having failed at TV. It's more like he gave it up. Trying to do a TV show and 3 hours of live radio daily took a toll. But the real problem was that his show was scheduled for something like 2 a.m. on the West Coast. I seem to remember his ratings didn't deserve that but the liberals running the scheduling couldn't allow his message to get out.

I wouldn't classify Rush as having failed at TV. It's more like he gave it up. Rush would have eventually been successful with the masses....but....he tripped on a very human fault....drugs. He knows this and apparently has corrected the problem....I respect his strength.

I think I used the correct term. The idol worship of Rush is way out of hand. There is nothing wrong about admitting mistakes. I'm surprised that MNJohnnie isn't in this debate.
