"The fate of those with less time in the country was unclear, but Specter, chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, suggested they might be asked to go to ports of entry, like the Texas border city of El Paso."
What are they talking about? What will they do once they get to El Paso?
I can see it now:
ICE agent: Jose, you've only been here 4 years. Please go to El Paso.
Jose: That's ok- I'm doing fine here.
ICE agent: Oh, ok- nevermind.
I stopped to fill up at three Exxon stations.
The card readers were either damaged or disabled at all three stations, forcing me to enter the store to present my credit card.
Not a single one of the attendants could speak or understand a word of English.
I finally found a working card reader at a Fina. I don't know whether the attendant there could speak English or not.
