"Compromise is for sissies. Screw that"

In case you haven't noticed, those of us who are adamantly for border security have about 25 reliable votes in the Senate and maybe 1/3 of the Congressmen. We don't have the votes - the other side does. If the other side is about to pass a horrible bill, getting it compromised down to a mediocre bill would be progress.

I am so sick of this crap. The slow march to socialism is always compromise. The slow march to everything is always compromise. It never freakin stops. Our own party rammed it in our asses again!

If the other side is about to pass a horrible bill...

...then they'll get royally screwed in November, and they know it. They're dealing from a position of weakness. If only our side would recognize that and act accordingly.

No a mediocre bill is not progress, the immigration laws we have now are not that bad compared to what is about to be cramed down our throats. The 1986 amnesty was passed with the promise of strict Border enforcement, 20 years later we are still waiting for that to happen. Nothing passing is better than a compromise.

It is very obvious when watching a group of illegals sitting on the ground waiting to be put in a Border Patrol Vehicle, that there is no remorse, they know all that happens is, they will be taken back to the border and released to try again, and again, until they make it.

Any bill that gives any hint of a guest worker program will be translated to amnesty by the human trafficing cartels in Mexico, and the number of border jumpers will continue to increase.

I can't understand why we are so willing to compromise our country away. Maybe my up close, and personal view of the nightmare for 20 years has given me a different perspective.
