"Prime example: Alan Keyes."
I'm more proud of my vote for Keyes in 2004 for Senate than I am of my 2004 Bush vote.
I understand there must be compromise, but Bush compromises on everything, except his liberal polices. Let Kennedy write his education bill, sign a Medicare bill bigger than Gores, let the border to be 100% open to foreign invasion. It seems like Bush is always willing to compromise his conservative ideals but never his liberal ones, which means hes not a conservative. The only difference between a Gore presidency and a Bush presidency would be;
1)No Iraq
2)No tax cut
3)No Medicare bill because the republicans in the house wouldn't send him anything he'd sign
4)Less spending because when dems are in the white house, then republicans are concerned with spending.
Gore might have even gone after the terrorists harder, remember democrats are only anti war when a republican is in office. WW1 WW2 the Korean war, and Vietnam were all started by democrats.
