Wow... the head of the Sorbonne bad mouths the socialists. Must have been the time spent in an "Anglo-Saxon" country.

Didn't some of the students do some trashing of the Sorbonne building and throw historic furniture and stuff out the window? I thought I read that somewhere.

The president of the Sorbonne understands the microeconomics of labor markets?
I am really quite surprised.

....said the youngsters had no dreams but believed everything was due to them as a right without having to work for it.It's the Democrat Party "base"!!

Good for him. Amazing to see someone in a position of authority in france show balls. Also amazing to see decadent young socialists riot over the idea that an employer could have the right to choose who he wants on his payroll. I can't imagine a stupider thing to riot over
To: trashcanbred
I wonder if a French subject has the right or know how to say "Take this job and shove it I ain't working here no more" If they would riot with that mantra they might start to feel free. They could then go out start their own business and put their old bosses out of business. But no that would be toooooooooooooooo capitalistic and evil.

Thank you for posting this article.
Dr Pitte's truth also applies to the permanent underclass in the US:
"Today's youth don't have dreams, they have illusions. To dream is to want to accomplish something difficult that is a challenge. Instead youngsters believe they have a right to everything and if things don't go the way they want it's someone else's fault."
