Ok, we don't have to argue. But you're wrong. I'm not angry at all. I enjoy the English language. That's probably the shortest possible answer. It's not a non-issue to me. It's nothing to get worked up about. I take your word for it that I gave the impression I was worked up, but I'm not. Just opinionated on the matter.
I love the English language too. IMO, both terms are inadequate, neither particularly better than the other, and neither worth wasting any emotion over.
