D.W. Griffith was an opinion maker very much in favor of the KKK. His film, Birth of a Nation, was shown to an enthusiast president, Woodrow Wilson, in the White House. Almost all the opinion makers in the South loved the movie and its laudatory portrayal of the terrorist organization.

Wow, LOL, I must have missed that year!

I wonder if the KKK won any Nobel Peace prizes, or had worldwide statesmen visit their grave sites, no?

Well, the opinion makers of modern times seem to have much more power to make their case.
