Sorry, the term suicide bomber mitigates the crime. Thast just my opinion, but I do agree its not worth fighting over..Not to change the subject, but tornado sirens are going off all over here in STL..

I don't see that the term "suicide" in any way mitigates the crime, or carries a value judgment one way or the other. It merely indicates that the bomber intended to die along with whomever else he intended to kill.
It is to delineate the bombing from the "plant the bomb and get away" sort. It is merely a description of what happened.
The Unabomber was a "homocide" bomber, but he never blew himself up too. That term is simply not descriptive or useful.
