How...Malthusian. Didn't Thomas Malthus espouse something similar? Or at least warn about it?
Malthus warned about the opposite, that there would be too many human beings on the planet and that we'd all starve for lack of ability to feed everyone, with the expected consequences - war, disease, etc.
