That's what I have been saying.

The high schools are so liberal and tech such hatred of the US, that of course these high school kids are full of contempt for the American flag, of course they demand, and do not ask.

And the more they see a weak response, the more will feel validated in their get-in-America's-racist-face attitude will feel right.

Then they go back to their high school classes and read more about the evil Columbus and how we killed all the Indians. Man, something's got to give.

I substitute teach and one of the things that the kids know about me is that they had better stand up for the Pledge of Allegiance.

And they do.

There are ways to teach respect.
