In that case, I should congratulate you too. Honestly, I don't know how movements start, but if these people can protest that they're here illegally but should be allowed to stay, it seems to me that people much brighter and wiser than I should be able to come up with something. Have you been reading the news? Canada put I don't know how many thousands on planes back to Portugal. Japan and Denmark are going at it too. What is wrong with us (besides the fact that dummycrats fill our government with democrap)? We are a nation of law, not just arbitrary 'immigrants'. Send them all the h**l back. Don't like it there? Change it. You have so much more oil than we do, other resources and that fabulous economic system called socialism. Work it, d****t.

That's right. I read someone's idea of suggested activism was to burn Mexican flags. I broke my resolution about posting on immigration threads to comment that burning flags was not in the spirit of Free Republic, and could be used to harm this website.

My wife some years ago lost a job at a mail order garden center to illegal immigrants, my son also lost his first job in landscaping to illegal immigrants, the pay was bad but he loved that job. Two weeks ago I was told to train my Mexican replacement, I'm in automotive engineering, yeah there's a job Americans don't want either I guess.

You must be mistaken. I know FOR A FACT that illegals only do jobs Americans refuse to do. I know this because I heard Bush say so at least 50 times since last Friday and I KNOW he wouldn't lie......would he?
