"Father, forgive them, they know not what they do."

The purpose of diabolic action is to remove souls from the Mystical Body of Christ.

For the sake of Mercy and to spare judgment (of course), I think most act in ignorance (myself included). If souls truly understood the Presence of Christ in the Holy Eucharist, they'd never dream to offend the Sacraments nor the Ever Virgin Mary.

Some Christians operate with mutilated Bibles devoid of the books that exemplify intercessions for lost souls in Purgatory. Children raised of the same protest run the danger of suckling upon such hatred that denies forgiveness and must have an enemy to accuse and destroy. The focus of unforgivenss finds its object upon the Authority of the Church. I suspect it's a Cain syndrome of jealousy and hunger.

All life follows the Sacraments. Without the Sacraments how can there be Life? Baptism is a great start, and the most important. But Life demands more than Baptism by water. Life demands the Baptism Christ receive with Fire from His Father's anger for all sin. The blank check He wrote was the Last Supper when Jesus gave us Holy Communion. We must be humble enough to Reconcile our sins and eat the Fruit of Life from the Tree of Life, the Crucified Lord.

"One does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes forth from the mouth of God."

Jesus is the Word of God, the Word made Flesh, and He is present in the Holy Eucharist.
