Surely they did not actually mean you had to do anything to show your acceptance of Christ and to cleanse yourself of your past sins. Surely.

Romans 3:24  Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

25  Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

26  To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

27  Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.

Is Romans not in the CoC bible?

Is baptism not an act of faith? How come faith does not extend to following the direction to repent, be baptised for the remission of sins and you will be saved?

And, you have never explained WHY you so reject being baptised?

Just don't understand Full Court how you can be this involved in religion and not be willing to be baptised - especially since there are so many verses that tell us to be baptised.

After Jesus arose from the grave he appeared to the eleven apostles. Mark 16:15 He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. 16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned."

Now just why am I supposed to ignore these words?
