Man, how did you learn to read? That verse says it's a work of GOD, not of man. Get a grip, will ya?

John 6:29  Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

"Now if Timotheus come, see that he may be with you without fear: for he worketh the work of the Lord, as I also do." -- I Corinthians 16:10.

Clearly, something being the work of the Lord does not preclude the involvement of human beings in doing that work (in this case, Timotheus and Paul).
