Could someone explain to me, what the envirowackos would have against a Center for Urban Horticulture?The wack jobs thought that the UW hort. lab was doing Genetic alteration/modification on the trees.

One ironic point: The Urban Horticulture Center promotes the cultivation of native plants and the eradication of foreign invader species to improve bio-diversity. In addition, it housed several rare seed stocks of native species. In other words, it was an environmentalist's best FRIEND, not enemy.
