Principal was correct. Using flags to taunt others or for any reason short of rendering respect is wrong no matter who does it. Patriotism begins with demonstrating respect for our flag, not in using it as a weapon to put down others with whom you do not agree.
I believe they were demonstrating respect for our flag. That's what got them into trouble.
Um. It's gotten to the point where the AMERICAN FLAG ALONE is an insult to too many people!
The principal had no concern when it was the Mexican flag being used to taunt Americans, but somehow now that Americans are flying an American flag in America, he has a problem and tramples his students right to free speech.
This guy is just another flaming liberal that hates America first and most.
Your statements sounds incedibly stupid. Or is it April Fool comment?
How do we know this was the case? Do you have inside knowledge? Or just based on principal Stumpf's opinion? Should the pro-American flag students just behaved like sheeple and kept their heads down while Mexican flags are flying all about them in their own country?
