We moved shortly after the Northridge earthquake. Returned for 1 year (1996).
Not sure when the Westwood incident was. I did see the riots up close.

Westwood was July of '96--July 4th to be exact. Die-hard communist agitators were involved in that one, BTW. There were other acts of violence at a rally on July 4th, 2000, again in Westwood and again involving illegal immigration.
The national media is just beginning to crack the surface of what's really going on in So Cal.
