My School, back in the day (recall, I'm from Canada), flew the UN Flag alongside our national flag. I hated it and complained about it for four years.
I wish I'd had the courage these kids had, to haul the thing down and burn it.
For some reason apopros of nothing, I recall the account in Plutarch's life of Themistocles where he tells of how, during the Persian Wars, the Persian King sent an ambassador to the Greeks to demand their submission. In response, Themistocles seized the Ambassador's interpreter and put him to death on the spot for daring to publish barbarian decrees in the Greek language.
Thank God we still have people of such spirit today. May God secure them.
Amen to that. I just hope that we have enough of 'em.
