We've got a sewer main break here on Oahu and the mayor has the city dumping UNTREATED SEWAGE into the canal that empties into the ocean about 1/2 mile from Waikiki. So far about 15 million gallons have been dumped. PEW!!!!!

GACK! Gross, doesnt' federal law prohibit that kind od dumping?

Every time Atlanta, Georgia has a sewer foul up, they usually dump about 500 million gallons of raw sewage into the Chattahoochee River, which flows into Lake West Point. The property values for a lake front lot's are about as cheap as they come in the state of Georgia. These sewer dumps seem to happen about twice a year, which means Lake West point is quickly becoming an open septic tank. This river eventually dumps into the Apalachicola Bay, in the Gulf of Mexico where some of the best eating Oysters used to come from,
