The other stripper never called the cops. The security guard called the cops. The cops come and see the victim wearing a see through negligee. What's going on they ask suspiciously. Now the victim had been in trouble with the police before- drunken driving, assaulting a cop. So what is she going to say- these Duke guys stole back the money they paid me to strip. Or, "I was raped" The only thing is - how do you explain the injuries consistent with vaginal and anal assault?
It's not inconceivable she was raped at the party as she has claimed. On the other hand, we have no information on what she was doing before midnight. Recall in the Kobe case, it was also said the alleged victim had vaginal and anal injuries "consistent with" sexual assault.
