The house is off campus. I haven't seen where Duke University is the owner of this property. Where are you getting that information?

Information was reported on Foxs News several days ago and again on a NewsObserver article dated April 2 available as a "latest" article now. Duke bought 15 homes off campus partly because of recurring neighborhood complaints. They had plans to rehabilitate and then return the properties to stable homeowners. This was to be done within a year time frame.

I did not know that. Thanks - it makes sense. But I have to ask, if someone removed numbers from that house I would doubt it was someone with the university. Who in any offical capacity would have the poor judgement to remove evidence from a crime scene especially as it would probably be pretty hard to cover up the fact that numbers had formerly been there?
