True enough. Do you think that also applies to witnesses to a crime? I'm not sure but I could see it if they were concerned they would be involved by their mere presence. They've now had plenty of time to consult their attorneys I would think. I would like to see some individual representation and not four attorneys representing the entire bunch. I would hazard a guess many of these kids families can afford individual representation.

Witnesses don't have to give DNA samples or get lawyers. They are potential suspects.
