What the heck is that?
Sort of like a profiler I guess.
Can she get a job in law enforcement with a record like that?
Without a felony probably so. That may be the reason the previous felony charges were plead down to misdemeanors.
It sounds perfectly normal that a daughter would try
to hide from her daddy that she was a stripper and
had been raped at a frat party.
That's the kind of thing a father might not understand.
Well, her story is falling apart, IMO; any credibility she had is going to be shot shortly if what I'm reading on the internet is what really happened.
And I'm thinking that the parents of some of those boys aren't going to take kindly to the DA and the school letting their boys be trashed like they have been.
You need to keep reading; her father has now changed his story.
Last night and into the wee hours of this morning I was getting more and more disgusted that her name was not coming forward. Thats when I put my detective hat on and went to work, time to get this info out there.
BIG NEWS !!!!

I agree 100 percent; I don't care what the charge is, I don't think it's fair for her name NOT to be given; if she's going to make the charges, she should be named.
Because she's not named, she can pretty well say anything she wants without fear of being contradicted.
After reading that article about the newspaper staff at NCCU, I am sure there is MORE stuff out there that is going to possibly help straighten out what happened that night, but they are covering up for her.
Re her running over a police officer in '02, I read that when the chase ended at a dead end location .. she tried to back up ... perhaps not realizaing the officer in pursuit had left his vehicle and was behind her.
On WRAL, they actually went to the dead end and showed what happened; when she got there, they thought they had her dead to rights; they stopped their vehicle and got out, she made a u-turn and drove right at them.
I am looking for the video for you.
Keep in mind that only the general public doesn't know her name; the suspects all know her name and can and are investigating her background. There is no reason for you and I to know who she is, and really there is no reason for the public to know who the accused are either. I would support a media policy shielding all names involved in a sexual assault claim from being disclosed by the media, at least until actual charges are filed.

Alleged Rape Victim Had Past Brush With Law
The problem arises when you read an article like the one in the St. Petersburg Times; it's obvious that the NCCU newspaper staff has found information that calls her credibility about this incident into question, yet they have decided NOT to publish it because she is black.
Goodness! Why wasn't it prosecuted as a felony?
WRAL now claims to have "verified" the defense's claim that the initial 911 call was from the second dancer "Kim"
http://www.wral.com/news/8542111/detail.html
I read that this morning. Isn't that pretty much what most of us suspected or knew all along? It is CLEAR from her report to 911 she wasn't hurt. She says her "black girlfriend" was driving/walking/sitting in front of the house? with her at the time, doesn't she? What a mess this whole case is.
Surely LE took statements from both the accuser and "Kim" soon after the alleged attack. Yet, Nifong has stated repeatedly that the phone call wasn't related to the rape, and the caller is unknown.
If this call can be proven to have come from either woman, then it seems to me one or both lied about it to police.
They have the second stripper (Kim) on tape in the background talking to the security guard. She says the other stripper is very drunk or something similar. What is odd- the father went to see his daughter at the hospital in the early morning hours after she was raped, but it never says if he saw her or not.
Also, he says the hospital personell wouldn't tell him why his daughter was there. Also, her boyfriend is at the hospital as well. The father now claims his daughter was badly bruised the day after the alleged rape but I don't remember hearing the DA say she appeared to be beaten- just that a forensic nurse noticed signs consistent with rape and sexual assault- which I took to mean internal injuries.
