The Hispanic lobby is greater now than it was then. Hispanics are surpassing blacks as the most populated minority in the U.S. Just as they pandered to the black vote they are now pandering to the Hispanic vote. It's all about elected officials keeping their precious offices not about middle America. They could care less about us anymore and WE were the ones who built this nation.
