Got any Manhattan Transfer? Maybe Tuxedo Junction, or Java Jive, or Four Brothers?

That's quite a list! I would love to do a huge list, but time makes it impossible.

And, if you want to count as a cover a graft from two earlier songs, you've got to have a place in your heart (filed under "guilty pleasures") for...

"Papa Oom Mow Mow" and "The Bird's The Word," the Rivingtons; grafted into "Surfin' Bird," the Trashmen. (The Trashmen, by the way, did a lot more than "Surfin' Bird"---this Minnesota quintet could have given the California surf bands a run for their money, especially via "Bad News" and their spooky cover of "Ghost Riders in the Sky.")

I had a twisted thought. What would happen to our husbands if the Poker servers went down? LOL!

We'd be in trouble, huh?

Wsah my ears out with soap? Not mine Connie! Please don't do that. Not that I'm allergic to bathing like tomkow. LOL!

God Bless our Troops!

My favorite cover so far: Leo Kottke and Mike Gordon doing Aerosmith's "Sweet Emotion". Remakes don't get much better.

Oh yeah, can't have you listening to naughty or racy songs...

They're just not fit for young ears like yours!

Here is an nice ramp shot of a Hawkins and Powers PB4Y, I think. Good chance that this could be that plane, or not. I do have several other PB4Ys in fire attack livery.

Cool pic's alfa6!

I used to work in the huge dual Quonset hangars in St. Paul which were built to house the mighty B-24 to perform modification upgrades to them during the war.

3M occupies those hangars now for their fleet of Gulfstream GV's.
