"It is offensive and outrageous for people who have broken the law to demand to be treated equally,"

They are not demanding to be treated equally, they want to be treated with special rights above which no other person on the planet enjoys. Special rights including working without visas while abroad, immigrating to a foreign county without applying for citizenship , visiting a foreign country without a passport , driving in a foreign county without an international drivers license, trying to vote as a non resident, delinquent on income taxes, receiving free health care without paying state disability insurance, and in-state tuitions for college.

However, if this were Mexico, then all these rights might be a reasonable request to demand, just as any citizen of any county has the right to petition its government.

Therefore it is either they are demanding special rights which no other person on the planet enjoys , or it is that they are demanding that this territory be considered as Mexican territory, which is really laughable, due to the extreme lack of these rights even Mexican citizens do not have within their own county.

Maybe they should take these protest to Mexico City where they might actually have an impact and mean something.

If they held this sort of protest in Mexico City they would have to bring bullet-proof vests with them.

Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson, D-Dallas, “said she's received "increasingly hostile" mail in the past few days urging her to support efforts to curtail illegal immigration. Lawmakers on both sides reported hundreds of calls, most from constituents angered by images of protesters demanding legal protection for illegal immigrants.”

Blacks are fed up too. Republicans don't seem to understand they can break the Democrats hold on the Black vote with this issue. Democrats can't win if they don't get 90% of the Black vote.

Good point. Mexico is a totally corrupt third world country with high unemployment, low wages, no worker benefits, substandard medical care and so on. Now imagine the impact of the 12 million illegals suddenly shoved back into Mexico by American armed forces on the border. The Mexican government would collapse within days and the ruling class would flee the country. VIVA LA REVOLUTION.

They do not want the US to be Mexican territory, nor do they want to be citizens, they want open borders, a coalition goverment, like the EU. They want to come and go as they please, yet work here and receive the same benefits as citizens.
