Maybe they should take these protest to Mexico City where they might actually have an impact and mean something.

Good point. Mexico is a totally corrupt third world country with high unemployment, low wages, no worker benefits, substandard medical care and so on. Now imagine the impact of the 12 million illegals suddenly shoved back into Mexico by American armed forces on the border. The Mexican government would collapse within days and the ruling class would flee the country. VIVA LA REVOLUTION.

They do not want the US to be Mexican territory, nor do they want to be citizens, they want open borders, a coalition goverment, like the EU. They want to come and go as they please, yet work here and receive the same benefits as citizens.

"they want open borders, a coalition government, like the EU."

If that is what they want, why didn't their allies also protest in Mexico city this week? They have even fewer rights there than here?

Why should they, their goverment is all for it. If they get enough people here they believe they can set the agenda.

if it is worse in Mexico than it it is here, and they are so proud of that nation, it doesn't make sense to protest here, when its there they wanted to protect what they are proud of , it is there that has worse civil rights. So where are the protests, in Mexico?

.... the reasons that we are being told they are out in numbers in the US just doesn't add up, but one thing does, the people protesting dont even know what it is they are protesting, they dont know that immigration reform hasn't been settled, they dont know that the majority of politicians wants to hand them full citizenship ASAP. Therefore it must be the reason these people are out protesting is that they are being driven by outsides forces, for reasons of anti Americanism
