Thank you for that comment - finally some logic in all this.
The Palis, Pakis, Iraqis and whoever who burn our flag, as much as I hate to see it, are generally burning poorly made imitations that were not flying over their own lands.
In the case at hand, the flag was raised on US lands, on PUBLIC school grounds, OVER the US Flag in a specific and calculated act of agression through symbolicly placing the US subordinate to the Mexican flag. Someone among those who planned this KNEW darned well what they were doing.
I'm just waiting for the "shot" heard round-the world (or at least across our nation. And right now - with Bush playing nicey-nicey with Fox - GW is starting to look like a two-faced traitor to me.....
Now does anyone here think that flag deserved a pardon? It needed to be burned and any foreign flag flown over the United States in defiance of our Sovereignty deserves the same. And anyone who would dare to do such an act does not deserve to breath American air.
