Mexican flag burned after week of protests
Associated Press Mar. 31, 2006 07:10 AM
Tensions over immigration got a little heated Thursday in Apache Junction.
A Mexican flag was brought to school by a Hispanic student in response to what he said was a racist remark directed at him the day before. After he and other students raised the flag on the school's flagpole, the newspaper said another group of students took it down and burned it.
The burning and ensuing shoving match between the two groups of students happened before most students arrived at the school.
The school's principal said all six students involved will be disciplined.
Security was beefed up after the incident but there were no other problems at the school Thursday.
Uh, sorry to burst your bubble buddy, but burning a flag is not handing their asses to anyone.
It's weak, it's what we see those 'weenie' pakis doing everyday, chanting around like a bunch of savages burning OUR flag.
We retaliate with FORCE. I don't think you know what that is, but a marine is MUCH more effective than a bic lighter.
So to you I say,
Lead
Follow
Or Stay out of the way.
Oh, the article doesn't mention it, but my local talk show host said they were mad yesterday because the principal wouldn't fly it, so today they took and raised it ABOVE THE AMERICAN FLAG. That's what started the fight.
When a foreigner or someone with loyalty to another country takes down the American flag on US soil and raises the flag of a foreign country, that is a symbol of victory and an act of war. It is a symbol that the United States is no longer sovereign over that piece of real estate.
Those who raised that flag should be deported immediately without hearing and those who burned it should be given medals.
I am hoping by your comment that you failed to realize that this flag was not merely waved, but was used to replace the American flag on American soil. If that doesn't get your blood boiling to the point where you would gleefully burn that Mexican flag and stomp it into the earth, then you are not a patriot.
... our focus is the legal system making sure our country is not flooded with the 'flagbearers' themselves.
----
Uh, what legal system?? What enforcement ?? What Congressional support for our border laws ?? Hello ??
Nice thought but this is going to come to blood in our streets.
I'll say it again... If we don't enforce the current laws, and deport all illegals now (I don't care where they came from) we just may be looking at riots in our streets that are equal to those (Muslim not young workers) that took place in France.
Oh, by the way... will someone please do something about all the signs and product labels written in Spanish.
My mother is Mexican. She has been here legally for almost 50 years and she still promises to hurt me if I ever refer to myself as anything other than American.
Indeed, you could say that Andy! But I prefer to see it as a cry for help.
Of course I'm shocked, we must have overlooked this batch. So, it's not their fault; we mustn't try to assign blame.
Looks like these kids are in for a tall helping of sensitivity training and multicultural workshopping! That'll fix 'em good!

Wow, That's even worse. I wonder why that part was dropped from the article...as if I have to ask. LOL

This may happen. All I can say is I am locked and loaded.
That's why it's difficult for us to publicy oppose this. Imagine a rally by mostly whites against illegal alien incursion. It would be portrayed as a klan rally.
While I agree that our focus should be the law, these illegals and their 'La Raza' enablers don't give a damn about the law.
We have to send messages that they will actually understand. Burning the Mexican flag is a message they will actually understand. I plan to send that same message myself.
Raise a foreign flag in anger on American Soil (on government property yet) is a sign of insurrection, not "protest".
LOL;)
We have one distinct exception - lots of guns and people that, unlike their elected representatives, are willing and able to defeat enemies.
Excellent!
What if they took down an American Flag on Government property and replaced it with a Mexican flag? That is a desecration of the American flag and (IMO) an act of war.
