Senators are responding, initially, to what they see on the streets and the political situation in Mexico (described by me in an earlier post). They need to hear from their constituents. Call their office EVERY day, if necessary. If that fails, join the RNC and recruit someone who more nearly matches your views.
The ONLY thing I'll advise against is voting for a Democrat. You will be infinitely sorry. I knew people who voted for Clinton because of the Bush, Sr. tax increase. BOY, were THEY sorry!!
I can't imagine the circumstances in which I would ever vote for a Communist Democrat, or anyone willing to caucus with Communist Democrats.
