As far as illegals going home.....we have alot of Ecuadorians, Colombians, Guatemalians etc., here in the high school where I work. Every summer they go home "to my country" and return after school begins. I've asked kids why they weren't here for the beginning of school and they all have the same answer.....my grandmother died!! I asked one kids, didn't she die last year??? Anyway, they come back weeks into the school year because the air fares are cheaper than in the summer.
I am not in a border state.
