Well, I knew some have but I'm taking about being out there with you. Any "anti-war" nutcase politician (like John Kerry for instance) can visit soldiers but later subtly denigrate them on the air or in a speech.
If a politician stood with DC Chapter for even a half hour on a Friday night, that would tell me that he or she supports the troops, their mission and the whole package. Most importantly it would mean they are willing to stand up against false charges made against military personnel. Visiting is great, yes, but tangible support is also needed.
