Drop Sonar Buoys in the water or cable tethered sonar dome and drop a Mark 48 torpedo and watch it go to work. I have a feeling something is up other than the "War on Terror". Time will tell.

Only Iran has a size-able submarine force that the U.S. navy has to worry about although they have a lot of anti-ship mines that those Helos can also deal with.
