The state Supreme Court upheld term limits for county commissioners in a unanimous ruling issued Wednesday.

The Tennessee Supreme Court upholds the popularly approved term limits for Knox County Commissioners in Knox County, TN, knocking 12 incumbents off the ballot. The Knox County Commissioners are the creeps who doubled our wheel tax last year and, when a referendum reached the ballot to repeal it, threatened to raise real estate taxes if the referendum passed. Great kudos to the Tennessee Supreme Court.

Too bad they didn't have to pay for the court action out of their own pockets, instead of forcing the taxpayers to pay for both sides of the case.
