When naming your child you should always consider the possibility, no matter how remote, that he or she may be nominated to the Supreme Court one day. That is the standard I recommend. This author makes some good points, but let's not forget, a lot of white parents are giving their children stupid names these days too.

My daughter named her girls and boys as if they would be CEOs of a fortune 300 company.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. My children have slightly unusual names, but they all had to pass the POTUS/SCOTUS test.

I mean, no offense, but please: Ladies and gentleman, the President of the United States...Pixie Ann Smith or Bubba Smith Jr.

You have to be careful about that sort of thing!
